William G. Russell.Mr. Russell is the founder and CEO of SKN Worldwide, a new sustainability services company that works with companies, intergovernmental agencies and governments to improve their economic, environmental and social performance, their “triple bottom line”.Mr. Russell applies his combined environmental, corporate finance, technology and management consulting knowledge to help clients increase productivity while consuming fewer material, energy and financial resources.Project areas include: (1) designing and implementing sustainability-oriented management information systems for specific business objectives or comprehensive enterprise Sustainability Management Systems, and (2) financially quantifying environmental liabilities and risks, process improvement costs and benefits, technology investment returns, and capital market and other stakeholder requirements and expectations.Mr. Russell is the former President of Ecos Technologies and is intimately familiar with the revolutionary metrics management and related functionality provided by the ECOSystem.He has been involved in numerous enterprise system implementations, including the design and implementation of GRI-compatible metrics management systems.While leading the environmental practice for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mr. Russell evaluated and provided assurance statements related to environmental management systems, contingent liabilities, environmental reserves and financial, environmental and sustainability report disclosures.Mr. Russell is a leader in the development of environmental information systems, metrics management and environmental management accounting systems.He is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager with over 20 years experience.He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland and an M.B.A. in Finance from RutgersUniversity.Mr. Russell is a member of the advisory board of The University of Michigan’s Corporate Environmental Management Program (CEMP) and the technical advisory board of Innovest Strategic Value Advisors.
