Products

Domain competencies.  SKN domain competencies are designed to track, understand and enhance its sustainability research, including external industry and stakeholder standards and trends.  SKN's network is a key component of these competencies.  Specific triple bottom line domain competency centers and representative services include:

1.  Eco-efficiency.
    
o  Eco-efficiency and environmental risk and opportunity assessments.
     o  Resource flow evaluations.
         o  Material flow analysis.
         o  Energy flow and greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting.
         o  Water flow tracking.
     o  Ecosystem impact assessments.
     o  New product innovation and design support, including clean technologies.
2.  Economics and finance.
    
o  Determining the ROI on sustainability-related investments.
     o  Preparing a flow cost analysis on a facility, product or process. 
     o  Incorporating probabilistic sustainability-related outcomes into management decision making, including related modifications of customer's existing valuation and risk measurement formulas.
     o  Working with management to develop a "triple bottom line" computation for internal use, and reporting to stakeholders.
3. 
Social responsibility and Corporate Governance.
    
o  Employee health and safety monitoring systems.
     o  Labor management practice review.
     o  Community service program support.
     o  Security vulnerability assessment and management.
     o  Using your sustainability management system to enhance compliance with new corporate governance laws and regulations (e.g., The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002).
